As the Boomer generation continues to exit the workforce, organizations large and small face the reality of trying to retain key business knowledge to maintain operational effectiveness. This issue is compounded by a tight labor market, providing ample opportunities for skilled talent to look elsewhere for work satisfaction. In this session, a two-pronged approach of addressing the issue of knowledge retention: 1) creating a fulfilling environment that encourages tenured employees to stay, and 2) integrating knowledge transfer/documentation practices into key areas of business operations will be covered.
